Photo of the Day: GBS Varsity Poms Ranked 15th in Nation for High Kicks
The Glenbrook South Varsity Poms was ranked after a performance at the Universal Dance Association's National Dance Team Championship.
Roughly 300 high schools' poms teams competed for glory in the Universal Dance Association's National Dance Team Championship Feb. 4 and 5. After two days of performing at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Fla. Glenbrook South ranked 15th in the Varsity High Kick category.
"The National Dance Team Championship is the largest and most prestigious dance team championship in America," according to a statement from District 225.
