Art Gallery and Studio Opening on Lehigh

Glenview artist Mia McNary is planning to open an art gallery and studio on Lehigh Avenue near Chestnut Avenue.

McNary has applied for a conditional use permit to operate a business in the light industrial district, according to city documents. She's planning to call her gallery and studio Mia Studio.

When she is not working on her own paintings or illustrating books, McNary will provide creative coaching sessions and small classes for moms in the space at 1940 Lehigh Ave. Mia Studio will be located in the same building as Tipsy Paint, a business that provides BYOB painting classes.
