The following report first appeared on the Village of Glenview website.

Organizers and sponsors of the Encompass Championship announced some of the celebrity amateurs that will be playing golf in the Champions Tour event that runs from June 17-23 at North Shore Country Club, 1340 Glenview Rd.

Celebrities include football Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Theismann, actor Dennis Haysbert (President Palmer in 24), Chicago Bear Robbie Gould and former Chicago Bear Brian Urlacher.
