Former Chicago Blackhawk player, Troy Murray, stopped by the Glenview Ice Center last week to conduct a hockey clinic with the house league teams — the Glenview Grizzlies, Squirt 5 and 6, and Peewee 1 and 2.

In 2011-2012, Troy Murray entered his 13th year as a member of the Blackhawks broadcast team and his ninth year as the color analyst for Blackhawk Hockey.

Murray was originally selected by the Blackhawks in the third round, 51st overall, in the 1980 NHL Draft. In parts of 12 seasons (1981-91, 1992-94) playing for the Blackhawks, he ranks 14th on the team's all-time assists list (291), 15th all-time in points (488), 18th all-time in goals (197) and 19th all-time in games played (688).
