Obama Congratulates Blackhawks During White House Visit

The team brought the Stanley Cup to Washington D.C. this week and earned praise from the president.

The BlackHawks visited the White House this week where President Barack Obama congratulated his hometown team on their Stanley Cup victory. The cup itself was also in attendance. 

Obama issued a challenge to all the other Chicago professional sports teams.

"I am term limited, so you guys got to get moving," he said. "I need to see you here soon."

The team also visited wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center.
