Willow Road Construction Prolonged

Due to utility problems, it may take construction crews longer to replace drainage culverts under Willow Road east of Shermer Road, according to the Village of Glenview.
The Illinois Department of Transportation project was expected to wrap up at the end of September, though a new completion date is uncertain.
The new east leg of the Waukegan Road/Chestnut Avenue intersection is now open to traffic. It will take a while longer, however, before the signal lights at the intersection are recalibrated to eliminate the split phasing.
