Facebook Turns 10: Share Your Memories

Time flies when you're having fun. Take a walk down Memory Lane with Facebook—and try not to wince at those 'incredible' status updates and photos you shared through the years.

Today, Facebook notched its 10th anniversary, and it's celebrating by showing its users how they've shared with the network over the years.

In sentimental "look-back" videos, the network's 1.2 billion users can get a glimpse of their milestones since joining: a film reel of first moments, most-appreciated status updates, shared photos and significant life updates.

The last decade has seen the website spread from one screen in a Harvard dorm room to those of more than a billion active users—170 million new members in 2013.

Last week, Zuckerberg popped up in newsfeeds everywhere with the announcement of "Paper"—Facebook's new app that enables readers to write, film and share stories via mobile phones.

With recent reports that Facebook's prevalence with the teen population is weakening, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg told NBC's "Today" show that the company is focusing on "serving all the different groups that use" the service, including "every demographic in every country."
