Glenbrook South Seniors Recognized For Helping Injured Woman

Three Glenbrook South seniors pulled over to help a woman who had slipped and fallen along Glenview Road this Sunday.

Three Glenbrook South seniors were recognized by Principal Brian Wegley for performing a random act of kindness this weekend, when they helped a woman who had fallen.

Paul Jones, Will Reynolds and Kara Stevens were driving on the morning of Sunday, Dec. 15, when they saw a woman who had slipped and fallen along Glenview Road, according to a press release from the school. They pulled over to give her towels, called her son, and waited with her until someone arrived to help.

The woman is doing fine, although she now has staples in her head. She called Glenbrook South, however, to make sure the students were recognized for their good turn.

"The story is another example of the way GBS students focus not just on academics, athletics and activities but of giving back and doing good for the community and world at large," the school said in the release.
