National Prescription Drug Take Back is Saturday

Bring back expired or unwanted prescription pills this Saturday in Glenview.

Do you have expired and unused prescription bottles cluttering your medicine cabinets and bathrooms? If you’re looking to unload unwanted prescription pills and want to dispose of them safely, you’re in luck.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday, April 28, and several local police departments, including Glenview’s, are hosting collections. The service is made possible through the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and is free, anonymous and easy (there’s even a drive-through!).

In Glenview, residents can head over to the Public Works employee parking lot, 1333 Shermer Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
