Trustees Consider $500K Contract For Village Hall Addition to Police Station

Board members decided last year to vacate the current village hall site at 1225 Waukegan Rd. and combine it with the police department to create a municipal campus.

Glenview trustees are expected to consider a $550,000 construction contract with a Northfield builder to relocate Village Hall and create a municipal campus at the police station, 2500 E. Lake Ave.

Trustees are expected to discuss the contract with Valenti Builders, Inc., at this Tuesday's board meeting, according to city documents.

Board members decided last year to vacate the current village hall site at 1225 Waukegan Rd. and combine it with the police department by building out a 17,000-square-foot addition to the police station.

Valenti has done several other projects in Glenview, including the Glenview Prairie Club, Midwest Palliative Hospice and Care Center, the Wagner Farm Heritage Center, Valley Lo Club and Glen Gateway Shoppes. The builders also worked on Park Ridge's Uptown redevelopment and a combined village hall/police facility in Lincolnshire, among other projects around the suburbs.
