Upgrades Coming to Downtown Glenview Metra Station

Commuters will still be able to access the train platform while the work goes on this spring.

Crews will begin $178,470 in upgrades and repairs to Glenview's downtown Metra station this spring, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Construction work will replace stairs, ramps, handrails and railings and will fix problems caused by corrosion from salt applications, the Chicago Tribune reports.
