Shop, Dine to Benefit the Glenbrook South Band
Friday, Oct. 18, at Vintage Nest and Michael Salerno’s Pizzeria in the Glen Town Center
Pick up something new at the Vintage Nest, 1891 Tower Rd., and eat at Michael Salerno’s Pizzeria, 2085 Tower Rd., to benefit the Glenbrook South Instrumental League. A portion of all sales goes toward the Glenbrook South High School bands. (Vintage Nest is also selling special, musical-themed merchandise just for this fundraiser.)

Dealers from around the company will display American, British, French and Asian antiques, as well as objects from the Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Mid-Century design movements. All proceeds benefit the Winnetka Community House. $15 in advance online.

Visit Wagner Farm For the Corn Harvest Festival
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19; Wagner Farm, 1510 Wagner Rd., Glenview
Take a trip back in time with this traditional harvest festival at Wagner Farm. There will be harvest activities, arts and crafts, wagon rides and fall food available for purchase. Admission is $5 at the door; kids under age 2 are free. 

Make a Fall Fairy Garden at Reds Garden Center
2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Reds Garden Center, 3640 Dundee Rd., Northbrook

Help Support Cancer Research at ‘Light the Night’
