In 2004, after Megan Tamte had just given birth to her first child, she was frustrated when she couldn't find any clothing to wear. She found most of the selection in stores was inappropiate in myriad ways. She decided to start a business to fill the missing gap and Hot Mama was born.
After much success with mothers who wanted to look chic but not like teenagers, Hot Mama opened in the Glenview location in the Glen. Top designers include Splendid and Michael Stars.
