'America's Got Talent' to Hold Chicago Tryouts

NBC's top-rated summer show will be holding auditions in Chicago at McCormick Place on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27.

Last season, "American's Got Talent" had three unique finalists: A comedian, a family dog act and a one-of-a-kind musical instrument. The winner? A group of dogs that danced, performed jump rope tricks and even some gymnastics. "Chicago is an important city for 'America's Got Talent,'" said senior casting producer Jason Shuler. "We have had several top talent audition at our Chicago open calls. Among them are Chicago group Footworkingz and the piano player from Edon from our most current season." Notable winners who auditioned in Chicago: Neal E. Boyd from season three and Kevin Skinner from season four. Most Popular New Year's Resolutions for 2013

We all know that people want to lose weight in 2013, but what are the other most popular resolutions?

Today marks the first day of 2013. And with that comes resolutions, or a clean slate, to start over and achieve something you didn't the previous year. For many, losing weight is a top goal. In 2012, the FDA approved the first weight loss drug in more than a decade. Shortly after that, it approved another weight loss drug. More so, there are stories that gym memberships boom this time of year. According to the Center for Disease and Control (CDC) website, 35.7 percent of adults - or one third of Americans - are obese. The CDC also cites that medical costs associated with obesity was around $147 billion in 2008. So yes, we're sure that losing weight is a top New Year's goal. But what about the others?
