Glenview Man Gets Probation For Selling Stolen Property
Ajay Patel was caught buying $22,000 worth of merchandise he believed was stolen.
Ajay Patel of Glenview was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to buying and selling stolen merchandise on the Internet, the Glenview Announcements reports. He was arrested when police caught him buying $22,000 worth of merchandise he believed to be stolen. With the help of Vijay Patel of Lincolnwood, Ajay owned and operated a wholesale general merchandise importing business called Advance Distributions which sold repackaged, stolen merchandise, according to the Glenview Announcements.
