It varies wildly, with Sears flinging open doors at 8 p.m. Thursday and Target following at 9 and others at midnight. Gloria Jean's will start brewing at 3 a.m. and the mall officially opens at 6 a.m.
Black Friday at Golf Mill Shopping Center in Niles will get going at 8 p.m. Thursday, Thanksgiving Day 2012, with Sears being the first to open. Target follows an hour later, and Kohl's and The Children's Place start doing business at midnight. By 3 a.m., you'll need caffeine, so it's a good thing Gloria Jean's will start brewing it up at that hour. At 4 a.m., many fashion stores, including Bath and Body Works and Express, open. A variety of apps can turn your phone into a shopping tool that will help you navigate stores, get coupons and find the best prices.
