Update: Morton Grove Alum, 18, Dies In CO Poisoning
An 18-year-old alumna of a Morton Grove school, and her grandmother, died Sunday in a carbon monoxide poisoning. Five other family members, including a current 6th grader, are hospitalized.
UPDATE Amina Ahmed, a sixth-grader at the MCC Full-Time School, and the other four children in the family have all been released from the hospital, MCC Full-Time School Vice Principal Arshi Mujtaba said Tuesday. Also, a funeral was held Tuesday for the two victims.
