Burglary Suspect, Elderly Uncle Once Worked as North Shore Cat Burglars
A man charged with two Burr Ridge burglaries in the last year and his uncle were suspected in 19 North Shore burglaries.
An Oak Lawn man with a long history of North Shore burglaries was charged with residential burglary in Burr Ridge last week for the second time since October. As Sergeant Marc Loftus of the Burr Ridge Police Department noted, it's only the latest chapter in a long criminal history for the 53-year-old Oak Lawn resident. "He's prolific," said Loftus. Kenneth Jackson, then 50 years old, and his then 75-year-old uncle, William Jackson, of the 1200 block of McDaniels Avenue, Highland Park, were each charged in 2009 with three felony counts of residential burglary, six felony counts of possession of burglary tools, and one felony count of possession of stolen property after they were suspected in 19 North Shore burglaries, the Highland Park …
