Thomas “Terry” Thackery Hicks was born in Evanston Hospital on February 24, 1940 and lived in Glenview for the last 36 years.
The following obituary was provided by Donnellan Family Funeral Services. Thomas “Terry” Thackery Hicks was born in Evanston Hospital on February 24, 1940 to Thomas and Jean Hicks. He lived in Barrington, IL the first three years of his life and then moved to Inverness, IL, where he grew up. His favorite sport was baseball, and he spent many hours on the baseball field, with a great group of fellow players. He attended Palatine Township High School and graduated in 1958. He then attended DePauw University in Greencastle, IN, where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He graduated from DePauw University in 1962.
