Burglaries on Commons Dr. On Jan. 7, someone reported their home on the 2700 block of Commons Dr. had been burglarized, according to police. Entry was made by forcing open the front door, the master bedroom was ransacked and jewelry worth about $6,000.00 was taken, police say. That day, two other resident on the 2700 block of Commons Dr. found pry marks on their homes' front door, according to police. Residential Burglary A resident in the 1600 block of Glenview Road reported Dec. 10 that someone entered their home, and stole three laptops and several pieces of jewelry. The amount of loss is valued at approximately $4,850. A resident in the 700 block of Arbor Ln. reported Dec. 11 that someone burglarized their home and took clothing. The reported loss is $500. A resident in the 700 block of Forest Rd. reported that some time between Dec. 15 and Dec. 16 someone burglarized their home. Entry was made by forcing open the home’s rear door. Aggravated Driving Under the Influence Jin Choi, 52, of Northbrook, was charged Dec. 14, in the 2100 block of Pfingsten Rd. with aggravated driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence - BAC of .08 or more, improper lane usage, and failure to signal when required. He was transported to court on Dec. 15 for a bond hearing. Possession of Cannabis Robert Cebula, 19, and Kevin Haro, 18, both of Glenview, were arrested Dec. 14 in the 1600 block of Meadow Ln. and charged with possession of cannabis.
