Missing Autistic Boy Found on Glenview Trail

Missing for two days, the Chicago teen, 15, was found by a jogger on a Glenview bike path this morning. After running away from an appointment at U of Chicago’s Comer Children Hospital Tuesday, he may have walked from Hyde Park to the North Shore.

A 15-year-old autistic boy was returned to his parents this morning after missing for two days, Glenview Police said in a press release. Kahil Gray, of Chicago, was found on a northbound Glenview bike path near Harms and Glenview Roads by a jogger around 6:40 a.m., police said.  According to police, Gray has been missing since Tuesday when he left his father while at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital for an appointment. His parents believe he may have walked from Hyde Park to the North Shore, ABC 7 News reports. Gray was approached by Morton Grove resident Mary Olander, who said she recognized Gray’s photo from news reports. “He was fine. He was calm, Just walking.
