Richard Morrow, 86, of Glenview, the former CEO of Amoco, the one-time international gas and oil company, died on Jan. 21, Crain's Chicago Business reports. In a 1987 profile on Morrow, Fortune called him "dour and meticulous," described him as a man of "personal caution and conservatism" and that he used to hunt, fish and play gin rummy. Morrow was a trustee at the University of Chicago and Rush Medical Center, according to Crain's, and married to Janet Malone, a member of the Chicago Ethics Board, according to Fortune.
