Glenview Hot Dogs Join Vienna Beef Hall of Fame

The Works in Glenview serves some top dogs. On Tuesday, the small Gold Rd. restaurant joined the Vienna Beef Hall of Fame after more than 30 years of service, the Journal & Topics reports. “I’ve been here since 1978,” owner Andrew Koliopoulos told the Journal & Topics. “We’ve had three generations of customers come to this location.” Vienna has been inducting Chicago-area hot dog joints into a hall of fame since 2006 based on customer satisfaction, community service and the sale of Vienna Beef products, the Glenview Announcements reports. “We look at a restaurant’s longevity. His dedication from day one when he started the business on his own, has created loyal customers in the Chicagoland area as well as in other states.
