Glenview Doctor Loses License After Sex With Patient
William Joel Kafin was fined $5,000.00 for his misconduct with a young woman and former patient.
An Illinois Appellage Court has ruled against William Joel Kafin, a physician and surgeon with offices in Glenview and Skokie, upholding a previous court's decision to strip Kafin of his license after he provided alcohol, smoked marijuana, prescribed controlled substanced and had sex with a 19-year-old former patient, the Glenview Announcements report. The investigation into Kafin's misconduct began with a 2007 Department of Financial and Professional Regulation complaint against Kafin and culminated in his license loss and a $5,000.00 fine imposed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, according to the Glenview Announcements.
