What could be better to lift your spirits on a rainy day than ice cream? How about a scoop for just 31 cents? Tonight, Glenview’s local Baskin Robbins will participate in the chain’s fifth annual 31 Cent Scoop Night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Last year, Baskin Robbins scooped more than 4 million ice cream cups and cones, a company spokesperson said. Baskin Robbins is not only thanking customers with scoops of their favorite flavors but the ice cream chain has also pledged a $100,000 donation to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NTFF).
