About Judy
Judy S. Freedman, a licensed clinical school social worker and bullying prevention specialist, is the author of Easing the Teasing – Helping Your Child Cope with Name-Calling, Ridicule, and Verbal Bullying (Contemporary Books/McGraw-Hill, 2002). Judy lectures and conducts workshops for parents, educators, mental health professionals, recreational personnel and kids throughout the country. Additionally, her practice in Glenview includes working with children, tweens, and teens who are victims of teasing and bullying. This past October, Judy Freedman was selected to be 2011 School Social Worker of the Year by the Illinois Association of School Social Workers.
