Nausheen Husain, Neighbor

A 2011 graduate of New York University, Nausheen studied journalism at the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute, as well as Middle Eastern Studies. She is interested in politics, communities of faith, lifestyle and humor. With experience at various local, community-based, national and international publications, she has well-honed reporting, writing and editing skills, with special interest in long-form journalism, international media and digital media.

Besides writing, Nausheen enjoys music, reading news magazines, the occasional movie, critiquing the grammar of others, trying out different kinds of chai and rooting for her beloved Chicago Bears.
